Onda

Rounded, generous forms with no hard edges — vessels shaped to sit comfortably in two hands.

The thinking

Soft geometry

Onda started with a brief of one sentence: make the bowl you want to hold when you are tired. Every profile in the range is drawn from an arc, with the foot pulled in and the wall carried outward so the piece falls naturally into a cupped palm.

Because the forms are so simple, the glaze has to do the work. A thick cream satin is applied in a single dip and allowed to break slightly at the rim, where the underlying body shows through as a warm shadow.

The range has no straight lines anywhere. It was harder to make than it looks.
